My first encounter with the bass clef was in 1967, playing the trombone. Later I traded up for the Bass, as in Tuba, and played for a number of years - including a stint in one of the many UW Madison bands. It was 1970 when I purchased a National Beatle Bass guitar. This was the start of a non stop passion for playing the bass guitar - as well as playing and singing in a host of bands ever since.

My other hobby is cycling and following European professional road racing..granted, Im a tad big for the sport but, non the less, have racked up thousands of miles since taking it up in 1987.. as well as attended many pro races as a spectator, including The Tour de France several times.

As for all the travelling, well that comes from living overseas and the active efforts of my dear wife Sue.  We do have a great time, especially when we travel with friends and family. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Hope to see you at the next trip,

Ted
